Its been awhile

I know I have not posted much on this blog. I want to start making things with blender instead of not making things and if that happens I want to post the things I make to this blog. And so there will be more blog posts to come if that happens.

I read a little more of blender basics but, did not do any work on the lighthouse model.

Yesterday I did use blender, yay. I working on more of the lighthouse scene from blender basics. I used the Boolean modifier to make windows on the lighthouse. It was fun. You can almost see the windows and door in the render.

Nothing new to report on the computer graphics front because I did not use blender yesterday.

Unfortunately I did not do any work with blender yesterday. After a couple of days of using the program now I am back to my old habit of not using the program.

I am on a streak I have used blender now for sever days and a row. I might even learn how to use the program if I keep behavior like this up. I read about Boolean Modifiers yesterday.

I read more of Blender Basics so I am using blender now which is good since if I don't use blender how will I ever learn to use the program.

I did work with blender yesterday, yay. I read some of blender basics. I am currently at the beginning stages of making the lighthouse seen. I am sure I will have fun.

Unfortunatly I did not use blender yesterday so I have nothing to write aboutthat is different from userday. Oh, well.

I did not do anything with blender. SO yesterday was like the day before and the day before that and the day before that and so on.

I did not do anything relating to computer graphics yesterday. I did think about computer graphic though. I thought if I could make a CG character for a movie what kind of character would I make? And the conclusion I can to was that I have no idea and I will have to think about it a lot more.

I did not even open blender yesterday. I am going backwards. I want to use the program more and judging from yesterdays use of the program that is not happening.

Nothing to report about what I did with blender yesterday except that I did open the program several times for I don't remember what reason. There is always today. Maybe I will use blender more today. I can't wait to find out if I will or not. The suspense is killing me.

Plans for computerGraphics

I know I have not updated this blog in a long time and judging by the traffic it receives no one noticed. I want to start making things with blender like images and short videos. I need to use blender everyday so I don't just forget everything and then have to start learning the program all over again. As its says in my tag line I want to update everyday so I will try and do that.

Right now I am reading blender basics for blender 2.5. I read blender basics for the blender 2.4 series but, I did not remember much because I did not practice enough. I know if I practice that I can learn blender so that is what I want to do practice practice practice. I am sure this blog will be boring so don't read it. Thank you.

I hope I can use a program like inkscape to make graphics for computer games or maybe I can make a website with it. Well anyway I hope I can make anythink with any computer graphics program.

Not nearly finished Baldwin Motion Chevelle

Here is render of a Baldwin Motion Chevelle that I got tired of working on as it was taking me forever to make. I could not get the blue-prints to match up right. When I get better, if I get better at making models I want to come back to it and see if I can finish the car.

My first almost complete car, Chevy Camaro

I want to start posting renders of models I have made. Here is the first car that I even came close to finishing. Its a Chevy Camaro. I am not sure how long it took me to make, probably about a month. I don't think its that bad for my first almost complete car.

What I hope to do

The thing I want to model very badly are car. So I hope to post a lot of renders of cars on this Blog. And some video's of the cars also. I also want to make websites wit gimp. Ok, I will settle for making anything at this point with any computer graphics because anything is better than what I have made no which is barely anything. So the idea for the rest of the year is to make more computer graphic of course that was the idea for all of last year all but, I think I have changed this year.

My computer graphics fist steps

Before I got a computer I had probably heard about photoshop and that was the extent of my computer graphics knowledge. It was not until I got a computer that I leaned about gimp, inkscape, Blender, synfig.

I believe the first program I used was gimp. I tried to work thought some of the tutorials on the gimp website and read through the documentation. All that work and I only created probably one image with gimp a banner for a header of a website. I hope to create more graphics with gimp.

The next program I used was blender. When I fist saw blenders website I thought wow, I wonder what I can make with the program. The fist version of blender I used was Blender 4.2. I tried some tutorials and read some of the documentation but, never made much if anything.

Then came Inkscape and Snynfig. I have tried tutorial on both of the programs website. But, I have made much with the programs. I hope I can make more graphics wit them.

Before tying the above programs I had not given much thought to computer graphics. I had played computer computer games but, never thought about how the graphics in the games were made and I certainly could never have believed I would be making computer graphics someday. Thats not strictly true I don't make computer graphics but, I want to. Wanting to though is not making computer graphics.

What do I want to make graphic's for? I want to make graphics for 2d computer games that I want to make. I also want to make graphic's for a website. If history is any indicator I will still be saying that I want to make graphics 5 or 6 years from now. I hope I start making things instead of wanting to make things.

My dreams for this blog

The computer graphic program that I have used the most is blender. I have tried a tutorial or 2 with gimp the same goes for inkscape.

I think computer graphics are cool and I want to lean how to make them and I think this blog will get me making some computer graphics so that I can have something to post but, fear not if I don't have any computer graphics to post I will post anyway, I hope, that is the plan anyway.
